the world would have been peace if the heads of some religions stop interfering in the day to day affairs of their subjects. not even a single religious head struggle against the social, political ,economic problems of their religious followers. but they would be first to instigate illiterate youth to resort to mindless violence. every person should have the right to question the tenets of his religion if he finds any irrational inhuman ,gender biased sayings . then only the world would be in peace other wise become several peaces

Actually, each person DOES have his/her own individual religion, in my opinion. I had a discussion with a friend about this once. For example, the average Christian doesn't live their entire life according to the Bible, listening to every single thing it says, following it word-for-word. What they do is they take the Bible and mold it into something that they're comfortable with. There might be a line in the Bible that says, "You are not allowed to eat X." Some Christians will follow that as it's written. But another Christian could look at that and say, "No, I don't have to listen to that... God doesn't care if I eat X, so I will anyway." Both of them will call themselves Christians, but they're intepreting the Bible two different ways. Another example is with the whole gay marriage thing. One Christian might be a homosexual and insist that God doesn't care about homosexuality; another Christian might insist that homosexuality is a sin. Obviously it can't be both ways, so both Christians are really practicing two different versions of Christianity -- one in which being gay doesn't matter, and one in which being gay is condemned. Those versions of Christianity are identical in every other way, but they're not totally the same.
You see what I mean? When people convert to a religion, in almost every case, they don't just jump into it and believe everything it says. In most cases they believe SOME things it says, and mix the other parts with their own interpretation ("Well, I don't think God really cares if I don't do this part..." / "No, I'm sure that's not what God meant here...") So really what you have is a bunch of people practicing a bunch of different interpretations of a religion. I mean, you can even see obvious historical examples of it. If every Christian followed Christianity exactly the same, you wouldn't have so many different denominations of the religion... denominations that often can barely get along themselves.

I believe religion is simply a label. Some people are insecure and can not depend on there own belief system. To follow someone else there must be a label. I thank God I have my own Spiritual relationship with Him. I do not need someone yelling his word then asking for money. I simply help who I can, when I can, when the time arises.

No - it would lead to even more chaos. It's basically what we have now -- everyone has a unique 'self' that they think is separate from everyone and the universe and this self tries to maintain its uniqueness over and over again. It joins groups and religions and gets identity from that. The only way to get peace is to work on removing the self through mind training.

do you mean peace or piece? if you mean peace, then i would say, probably not, because some people want power more than anything, and those people will not allow others to follow their own religion.
if you mean piece, then i would say yes, the world would be in pieces, due to everyone wanting their own share of it.

I have my own Vision of God. I am near 100% at peace. If everyone had there own religion then no one would push ther religion on another because then everyone would not have their own religion.

I a not worried about the peace of world. The Bible says that we will always have wars among us.
As I try to live peacefully, I will never turn my back on Jesus in the name of so called "peace"

No because then everyone would be pushing their religion on others. I think if there was NO RELIGION we would have peace.
