I was recently legaly seperated but now we got back together and its working out good , during that time I was seperated I had sex with a old freind just once and I have been worried she could be pregnant. She had her tubes tied 17 years ago and she thinks i am nuts, She has had 2 normal periods and even took a home pregnancy test just to shut me up which turned out negative but I am a worry wart.
What do you guys think am I just be stupid and need to stop worrying about her being pregnant?
Also please don't flame me I am just a nervious person who always fears the worst with everything

Calm down, the chances of getting pregnant after having your tubes tied is very slim (0.5%). Having sex only one time and getting pregnant is pretty slim as well. If she has had two normal periods since then the chances drop to pretty close to zero (0.00001%).
A Tubal Ligation is a pretty serious and measure, and it is meant to be permanent. The tubes are cut, the ends sewed up and then they are tied. There is a gap between the cut sections and the sperm and egg can’t cross that gap. Of all the birth control methods this is one of the most effective.
It is time to forget her and to concentrate on your new girlfriend. I also think that you should be wearing a condom whenever you have sex, unless you want to have a child. You and your girlfriend have had sex with other people and the chance of getting an STD is just too much to worry about. I would wear a condom with my wife unless both of us were tested for STDs and came out clean. Face it the chance of either one of you having AIDS is slim, but is a little sex worth a death sentence? I would still use a condom unless I wanted to get her pregnant or it was practically impossible to get her pregnant, like if she had her tubes tied. You aren't wearing a condom just for you; you are wearing for the both of you.

I wouldnt sweat it.... sounds like you are just being a worry wart, if shes sure and has had her periods and the negative pregnancy test, then she'll be in the clear so no worries. Hope you and your continue to work things out!

If she's had two normal periods and the pregnancy test came back negative, you really have nothing to worry about. Just relax! I think you're more afraid of her being pregnant and it ruining the relationship you fixed.

If you fear she is pregnant then obviously you didn't use birth control.
It sounds like you shouldn't be worried about pregnancy by what you said, but rather, worried about whether or not you contracted a Sexually Transmitted Disease.

It is possible for a simple tuble to reverse itself. If she only had them snipped and tied it is quite possible she could get pregnant. If the ends were cauterized after snipping then there is no way the tuble COULD reverse itself. You might want to double check with her and if she had a simple tubal you might have talk with her doctor.

I think it's more of you having a guilty concious(sp)!!! She's not pregnant. So move on and enjoy being with your wife!!!

By having sex with her you did produce something--- its called guilt. So you cant believe you really got away with it . And you really wish you hadnt done it. So you feel guilt.
