Hello GotAnswer...

You question may well be mute....... YES, prayers have been answered, not many, per the number prayed. But yes there are proofs......

Joh 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Jam 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Deu 5:12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
Psalms 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in your sight: you hate all workers of iniquity.

The Sabbath day is Saturaday.

Try this one:

There is no ever burnning hell where people will be tormented day and night for ever. There are two Greek words translated hell in the Kings James new testament.
Hades {hah'-dace}which means grave. Geenna {gheh'-en-nah} which should have been rendered "Gehenna" or "Gehenna of fire". This was originally the valley of Hinnom, south of Jerusalem, where the filth and dead animals of the city were cast out and burned; a fit symbol of the wicked and their future destruction.

An Italian Florentine poet, Durante degli Alighieri, better known as Dante Alighieri or just Dante, June 1, 1265 – September 13/14, 132, created the idea of the hell that is taught to the world. The Catholic Church grabed it and ran with it. The protestants appear to believe all things which the Catholics speak.

God tells us there will be a one time punishment, not an eternal punishing. Yes it has to do with fire, a fire that consumes.
Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day is coming, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day thats coming shall burn them up, say's the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Malachi 4:3 And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, say's the LORD of hosts.

Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Notice: A second death, not life in an ever burnning fire.

Don't give up.....

It depends on what you consider to be enough evidence to warrant proof. Some people consider one prayer coming true as proof. However, personally, I would expect prayers to come true often to warrant proof that it's not a coincidence.

Recently, I saw a story on the news about an experiment: A large sample of people was used, completely made up of people recovering from heart surgery. One third of the people were prayed for and told of this fact. Another third was prayed for, but the people weren't told. The last group was not prayed for. The prayers that were told for the first two groups mentioned a desire for a healthy recovery. Afterwards, scientists recorded the percentage of people from each group that faced complications. For all groups, the percentage was nearly equal: Just under 60%. That shows that recovery from surgery was not assisted through prayer.

When I was growing up I had a neighbor that became closer to us then family. About 10 years ago she got very sick and fell into a coma. Her birthday was a few weeks away. Now not having the chance to say goodbye to anyone that I have loved who has passed from this earth I really wanted the chance to tell her goodbye and that I loved her.

I prayed that God would bring her out of her coma before her birthday so that I could see her or at least take her home so she could spend her birthday with Him.

Well they didn't change her medicine and the couldn't explain why ( I could) but two days before her birthday she came out of the coma and I was able to see her for her birthday. It blessed me beyond measure.

A day or so later she slipped back into the coma and when to be with the Lord around two or three weeks last. So for me their is proof that God answers prayer. I thank him everyday that he loves me enough to listen to my prayers and He always answers them. Sometimes the answer is Yes, other times it' NO and them sometimes it's ask me again later.

The prove is in you. How did it make you feel after you prayed? Did you feel better? I personally do believe in prayer. I might not always get what I pray for but I firmly and truly believe that God answers my prayers and gives me what HE knows I need, not what I think I need. I dont know if you are able to understand what I am trying to say. i guess the best way to say it is, I might think I know what I want or need, but God knows better than I do what I need best.

In my life there is. Try this. When you get up each morning say the Lords prayer in earnest think about the words as you pray. Takes less than a minute. Do this faithfully for two weeks then look back and review that 2 weeks. Then stop for 2 weeks and do the same. Figure it out yourself.

Nope. Just a matter of serendipity and perspective. Remember that bus full of Baptist kids that got stuck in a flood. Some lived, some died - any doubt they were all praying? The survivors all claimed god saved them because they were praying. What about the others? Just god's plan?

Yes... I have a proof!!

One morning after partying all night, I went back home and then went to see a friend of mine. He invited me for breakfast.
When I reached there, he said, I haven't taken a shower, so please pray and I will cook the breakfast in the meanwhile.

I lit the candle and prayed for him and asked for three things:
1. One of my friends wife was in hospital and we wanted her to get well and be discharged soon.
==> Get well and discharge from hospital
2. Another friend of mine was looking to get married and wanted an engineer, model looking and vegetarian girl in her own community which was difficult.
==> Get him a great looking wife with all the qualities required.
3. This friend of mine where I came for breakfast was illegal in the country.
==> Get this friend a citizenship.

Well... the result...
1. In the evening I called my friend whose was ill, to know she was discharged.
2. The friend no. 2 found a gorgeous looking girl who is an engineer, vegetarian and from his community.
3. The friend at whose home I went for breakfast, is now a citizen of that country.

So... if you pray with pure heart it is heard and this is not the only time... I have lot more times, when my prayers were heard.

Thank God...

There is much anecdotal evidence that it works. There is little empirical evidence that it does. The problem with demonstrating that prayer works empirically is that it is impossible to control for the differences of the physical and emotional well-being of the prayers and those prayed for, not to mention differences in the earnestness of prayer, and so many other factors which cannot be controlled scientifically.

Have you read the bible? Hannah asked God for a child, she prayed for many, many years and she finally gave birth to Samuel, which means asked of God. So yes there is proof that God answers prayer.

Yes there is proof, I have prayed lots of times and God truly answers prayers,
He even answers prayers concernin health, weather, jobs, u name it....But remember to always thank God first especially for the things we take for granted like the sunshine, air we breathe,etc.flowers.
Ask God by the blood of Jesus, and your prayer will be answered quick.
