Should I go? I personally think they are wrong but what things should I say to them to prove them wrong?

If you are a Christian, you should not go. The fact that you believe they're wrong is probably the Holy Spirit speaking to you.

Consider this: Mormons accept a book of visions given to their founder, Joseph Smith, who supposedly spoke with an angel sent to him by God. This book is considered superior to the Bible, and teaches such doctrines as: Jesus was the brother of Satan; God used to be a mortal man; etc.

Galatians 1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

Enough said.

Peace.

If you don't want to go, just tell them no politely.

You will not prove them wrong, because they firmly beleive what they beleive, they use not only the bible, but also the book of mormon, so there is no way to prove them wrong, if they wish to beleive thier other book.

Next if you go, it will just appear like any methodist or about like any formal baptist church you would go to.

larger ones, a choir up front, people greet you at the door, there is a leader, bible readings, songs and a choir maybe.
And they have communion.

So it will just seem like any other church you will go to on the surface.

If you want to go, then go, if you don't, then don't. Don't try to prove them wrong, it's only going to cause problems. Find out why they believe what they do, then tell them why you believe what you do. Just because you don't believe it does not make what they believe wrong. I don't think you have the right to judge something if you don't really know what it's about.

You don't need to prove them wrong. Just simply say that you prayed/reflected about the Book Of Mormon, and you don't believe. They are good people and won't bother you if you truly don't believe.

I don't know that I would go to a Mormon gathering. I guess that sounds a little bizarre, but if you're out to prove them wrong and you believe you are right...why subject yourself to that?

There is nothing wrong with going to a church you were invited to. If your faith is strong you have no fear of being swayed. Going will give you first hand experience to use in any future debates that may come up.

Go if u feel its right. But dont put their religion down.
I think they worship the virgin Mary.
Just tell em u worship Jesus if u do worship Jesus.
U dont have to go to church to prove anything to anyone.
God sees your heart and mind, thats the only one that really matters in the long run.
