When i'm in a place with alot of people sometimes i will get real nervous and start worrying and be real self-conscious about my actions and what i'm doing. I'm afraid because of this i might look tense or weird sometimes. This doesn't happen all the time but most of the time it's when i'm around a bunch of people I don't know that are in close quarters with me.

I don't think it's just "shyness" because most of the time i have no problem talking to people and when i do feel this way it usually helps for me to talk to someone.

i only feel anxiety under certain situations. About 65% of the time i feel fine. It's not so bad that i'm afraid to leave my house lol.

I don't think i had this problem until i started smoking marijuana about a year and a half ago. I haven't smoked anything in like 6 months though. Is it possible marijuana caused this?

Social anxiety. You don't have to be shy to have it. I'm sort of shy, but I get this too. I feel like people are staring at me, talking about me, judging me. I'm seeing a counselor. I suggest you do the same.

its just the way how u think and preceive things.look... first of all stop bothering what others have to say about urself.stop giving inportance to their comments or their undue actions.i mean just be confident and face the world.nobody is perfect in life but everyone has the capacity to be a perfectionist with little more hardship and practice.u basically seem to be an introvert and s shy person.these people tend to get scared in heavy public gatherings and move backward.u just have to feel that u are a one among the croud ...but u have to stand out among others not with ur shy bahaviour but ur sociliazing skills.one good exercise is to practise proper behaviour and communicating skills in front of the mirror.talk to urself on various issues.this will bring professiency in u and even boost up ur confidence .u can laugh on urself and correct too no one would be there to criticise u and this 100% increases ur confidence level when u are actually facing huge groups.try it out.hope this was useful for u.best of luck!

It can get worse. Check out this site and see if it seems like what you are going through. Then get professional help. After a while a friend of mine had trouble leaving the house, eventually she couldn't leave the couch. It was kind of difficult to get help in that condition. Don't wait.
