I will make a suggestion that will save you a lot of money. I enjoy a good wine--love sweet wine, but often buy wine and take a few sips and toss it. So go wine tasting at local wineries and buy what you like. I live in CA and we have wineries in the most unlikely places and know that other states have local wineries also.

If you want a super sweet wine, Icewein is a good way to go. For moderately sweet, try a riesling or gewurtztraminer. California viognier offer a little sweetness and fruit as well.
