what about people that are just a little (but noticably) chubby?

With all of the emphasis that our society places on thinness, I'm sure they do. Just like I'm sure I am far more aware of any fat on my body than the rest of the population.

Why would you even ask such a question? In this period of history people have been made to be hyperaware of their weight. Would you ask because you are thinking that if they are aware that they are overweight they should do some thing about it?
If it were that easy to break a bad habit, no one would be a drug addict, an alcoholic, a sexual deviant, a workaholic, a compulsive gambler, a nail biter, a shoplifter, a compulsive liar and so on and so forth.
I truly wish before someone decides to cast a stone at someone else they would examine their own life first. I realize that will never happen, but it would make the world a little more pleasant.

What may be fat to you, someone else may not consider to be fat. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. I guess that's like asking, "Do stupid people realize they're stupid?" What about people that are just a little, but noticably stupid? Well, who makes that determination? Who determines what is fat? Who determines what is stupid? Do skinny people realize they're skinny? What about those that are just a little, noticably, skinny? Fat, stupid, skinny, in whose eyes?

well, hm. i am sure they do! i do..i am 16 and i already do! i am 5'5 and i currently weigh 136lbs...and i notice it. but you know what?! message to: people who are overweight:
dont give into this world! and the things of it! we are all humans, and we all deal with our habits...some, nailbitting, twirlling hair, eating, couch potatoeing everyday...everyone has a problem to deal with...dont ever look down when someone who thinks they are better than you stands above you...you just lift your head, and stand up too. we are all equal no matter what size we are, color, gender...or whatever! we are all people who have faults and weaknesses...and stupid people who care so much about weight think they dont have a fault or weakness...well, they are wrong...theres just happens to be different, they gave into the ways of the world!
so back to your question: the only thing obese people realize is that they are no different from those who arent.

God decided everyone would have a certain amount of fat on them. Then some people decided they didn't want to carry around their fair share, so other people had to pick up the slack.
Of course we know, some of us just don't care what skinny people think of us in micro minis and spandex.

I've often wondered the same thing, especially when they wear clothes that are way too small or inappropriate for someone their size. I am a little chubby myself and know it and I try to dress appropriately.

Of course they realize they are over weight. Hopefully they are comfortable in their skin. That's why I like Monique, because she is Big, Black and Beautiful. Her confidence is true beauty. I am not over wieght but I would never put down someone that is.

Even if they were totally blind they could feel the fat, and I suppose they would notice carrying all the weight around.

Yes we do. We just have a lot more self confidence and aren't afraid to be fat.
