I would like more than a yes or no answer. How about a story?

oh yea. Her name was Lorna. I had every thing all planned out what to say. We saw each other every day and got along just fine as friends. we hung out together all the time. Went to movies, dinner dancing, the whole nine yards. Even got the occasional peck on the cheek. When the day came I got the courage to tell her how I felt, I got called up for service in the Air Force. Never saw or heard from her again.

Yeah, there was this guy, #1, I really liked. And another guy I really liked #2. I had gone out on several dates with guy #2. Well, guy #1 was going to leave for Europe for 2 months, and we had a party for him, and I was really into him that night. I did not want to go home with him because guy #2 might find out and not approve, and also, I didn't want to be that girl who beds people like a going away present. So, I didn't go home with guy #1, and ended up getting dumped by guy #2 anyway.

Then guy #1 came back from Europe engaged to a French sex goddess! I should have had him when I had the chance!

Everybody has a one that got away because of hesitating or stalling or just flat out fear. Move on and don't stay stuck thinking of what may have been.

I did miss out on a great relationship, but it was not due to stalling. It is too sore of a subject right now to go into details.

I feel the exact opposite. I truly messed up every relationship by thinking that i always had to do something to make it grow. The times that i put on the breaks and let nature takes its course is when i had the most success.

He was a famous playwright. He asked me to opening night of his play and to the cast party.

Dummy me, I brought one of my girlfriends and giggled the entire time.

He dated and married someone else. His sister told me later that he had a crush on me. He named a leading character after me, though, in a sitcom that was on TV.

I arranged to meet a girl one evening. When I was leaving to meet her, the phone rang and a girl I had always fancied asked if she could come to me.

Because I had promised to meet the other girl, I declined.

The other girl didn't turn up.
