I try to overlook it, but spelling has always been important to me..so before I add this to your answer column, I will run spell check on it to make sure that at least the words I have written are unmistakably English words!

Most of the time I just think they were either inadequately educated or suffered with dyslexia.
BUT I have to say it really gets my goat - and I have been known to chunder away to myself because I'm so annoyed - if I receive a communication that criticises me in some way and there is mispelling in it - I often think HOW DARE THEY!!

I do not think anyone in the world spells everything right, why do you think bosses have Secretaries not just to sit on their knee.
I write as I talk with is from the north of England. We speak slightly different than southerners. Because of this we pronounce words differently.
But in this world of tecnology we have the spell checker so it does't matter how many mistakes we make the machine will do it for us
Good Luck

Never be too sensitive, it is only gramar not the end of the world.
My advise is:this world has a very unfair way of judging people by what we write i suggest you pick up from where you most need help, go and get a cambrigde test in english and persue your education till you become the expert in english. Beside when we all die no one speak any language in the grave. But study to show yourself .... as the Bible recomand in the book of Timothy, knowlegde is power, Prov 4v5 and verset 7 says pay any amount to get wisdom Above all the english and wisdom persued, please get SAVED, receive Jesus in your life as your personel saviour life is too short. Who knows what is going to happen 2morw. Love from a christian brother get in touch if you want more light at : " Lovylovyonelove@yahoo.co.uk"

You could be suffering from Dylexsia. Not to worry if you are, because you will have the advantage of being able to solve practical problems far quicker than the people who can spell well and be able to visualise the world from a different perspective.

Spelling is tough, but with spell check and on line dictionary at your fingertip there is no excuse for the terrible spelling that occurs on Yahoo answers. I am a terrible speller, but strive to get it right.

As someone who spent their school years in fear and loathing of spelling tests I think that the spell check function on any programme is the best invention ever. Don't be lazy - use it and be grateful

I feel like they are typing too fast and not double checking their spelling. Especially when there is a key to "Check Spelling" before submitting.

I assume that you are either (1) in a hurry, and thus transpose letters (2) are dsylexic and transpose letters (3) can't spell for crap (4) don't care.
I find it somewhat annoying.

The idea of spelling is to convey a message as long as you achieve this goal why worry.
