We play peek-a-boo with our Quaker parrot, he goes to the bottom of my hubby's shirt and climbs under the shirt up to the neckline and says peek-a-boo when he comes out! Too cute! They also play a game we call 'Sock'. When Hubby takes off his socks he holds the toe end and tries to capture Pete (our bird) with the open end,, they can play that for about 20 minutes!
During the day Pete and I play 'locate me',, he whistles this weird whistle and I repeat it back to him,, then he flies to me, then takes off and flies to another area of the house and whistles again. We play another game the grandkids call 'Pete wanna count?'. They count, one, two and Pete says three! Then we quiz him like, what is 5 minus 2? He will know the answer,, he says 'three'. What is 105 minus 102? He will give the right answer,, three! Smart bird! He actually has the intelligence of a 4 year old.

"Terd on the Bird." Its where you throw sludgy feces at the cage indoors or outdoors which ever you prefer, get a buddy take turns 3 throws a piece after first contestant is out of throws wash the bird and second contestant gets a go at it. See who did more covering of dookie. Pretty good game never played it though.

You can do about anything and make most birds happy. I have a conure and a tiel. Both like to play steal the ink pen with me and I roll up a posted note into a tube and both like to rip it apart. I aswell put a dot in the middle of a postit and stick it to my desk and let them try to dig the dot off. The conure likes most to hang on the back side of a cloth chair and play pick a boo with me. I reach over the top slowly and he jumps up and tries to bite me. Or he tries to come over the top and I poke him and he yells and hides again and starts peeking at me trying to get me to put my finger back there.. Like I'm a sucker for that one again.. He likes to lay on his back in my hand wile I poke at him so he can yell..

We have a cockatiel named Lucy, and we play hide and seek. We also play chase Lucy's tail, (which she can get annoyed with), and find the necklace or find the string. We also hide food for her to see if she will find it.

Say the word, get a snack. (Even though it has yet to talk, I'm hoping positive reinforcement will do it good.)
