MTB all the way. Sure a BMX rally is a great spectator sport, but nothing beats coming home in shreds because you've been through a river, over a cliff, jumped a brown snake and smashed into a gum tree.
Did you ever catch Hans Ray going *up* a waterfall without getting off his ride? Classic stuff.

I prefer mountain biking for several reasons. And I say like, I don't think that one is better than the other, it's just that for some mtb is more fun, for some bmx is funner.
I really like being outdoors in the woods, I like meeting new places, new trails. I think that on BMX it's different, you do crazier things in a small area. It just depend what you want to do. Also, I don't do air or freeride, just XC.

I'm a road biker, and loved it. Then I got run over by a train and lost my right leg above the knee, so now, I just like to remember. But I hope all of you like whatever biking you do. It's a great sport, no matter how you do it. God Bless you.

mountain biking, 12' drops off cliffs, going downhill at 35 mph, getting big *** air over some jumps, and splashing through the occasional foot deep creek.
