Chick doesn't bother me. If you called me ho or something then i would have a problem.

Uh- I guess I do. I wouldn't want to be called a chick because I'm not a chick, I'm a person. I guess I would rather be called my name than a chick. And the way you said "chick" did sound really degrading. That's what I don't like.

Personally I don't mind. It's proabably one of those things that depends on the personality. as a self concious girl i loved it because it made me feel better about myself (I'm not sure why) but if a girl says she doesn't like it then she's probably a feminist. which is great it means they want to get some respect. So respect that. Give girls respect and only call them a chick if they let you.

In some places calling a girl a "chick" is like saying she kinda nothing, I go both ways on it. Depending on how it is used when saying it depends on whether i get mad or not.

i live in NZ and the chicks here aren't offended by it. it's like calling a guy a dude. not offensive.

I find it offensive because it makes me feel like a slut or ***** or w/e else you guys call girls who make u sick to ur stomache or pissed these days...I prefer to be called by my name or by hunny or sweetie or cutie. Chick is just plain offensive to me and obviously, in your case, other girls as well.

i depends what type of girl you have some get jealous to fast and some might ask you alot of questions but depending on what type but watch out some girls you have to watch
