i think its illegal everywhere i think its assault

The answer is yes, it is considered assault and battery. However, if someone spit on me there would be no assault charges against the perpetrator, more likely homicide charges against me. Remember, Florida has broadened laws permitted the carry and use of firearms in Florida. No wise to test the system here I think,

I don't know if it's against the law, but it's a good way to get your teeth knocked out if you spit on the wrong person.
