Office Outlook 2003. When Outlook is checking for mail, I can see the progress in the 'inbox' but some of the e-mails will show very briefly and then disappear from the inbox list never to be seen again. What is happening and how to correct this. I have not any virus problems or spyware issues.

Do you have any rules set up to move these items to a different folder?
Do you have Outlook set up to only display unread items in the preview pane?
Do you have an over-active spam blocker or junk email filter?

If your on the internet i would say spyware
