Layering hair ?!?

Can anyone tell me how to layer medium length hair ? Please explain to me.

If you are talking about a hair cut, you should see a stylist. Never try to do it yourself. I've tried and it looked terrible. Your stylist will cut it into layers and it will automatically fall that way.

1) Start from the back and leave it the original length.
2) start second row and cut it desired length .
3) take a third row and cut it desired length but shorter than second row.
4) Repeat
