What is born of the flesh is flesh...Being "Born Again" is actually a new life in Christ, a person gets a new heart and a new spirit just like God promised. (Ezekiel 36:26) we are dead in our transgressions and not only are we dead we are also slaves to sin, only a new life in Christ can one truly be freed and made alive. My favorite bumper sticker says " I was dead once, and I didn't like it". We are truly dead souls until the spirit of God dwells within us. I can give you more insight to the mystery, but the Holy Spirit is the only one who can give you understanding. By the way separation from God is the second death ( which means eternal death in hell). Hope this clears things up a bit

Or there is a third alternative.
When Adam and Eve sinned, they earned death, and by all rights should have died immediately. But going back to the idea that a parent will do everything possible to save their child, God stepped in with a miracle. He keeps people alive for a time to give them chance after chance to learn what's going on and make their choices, then even more time to change their minds if need be. People don't just get one chance, they get thousands or millions.

There are 2 deaths for some, The first we all will experience. This is the death of the flesh. There are 2 Resurrections. The first is believers in Christ Jesus, who paid the price for our sins
They are resurrected to life everlasting.
Then there is the 2nd Resurrection. This is when all that choose not to follow Jesus will have to pay the price of sin themselves.
They will be separated from God. The 2nd death is of spirit.

The separation is a spiritual separation not a physical separation.
When Adam and Eve sinned, they experienced a spiritual separation from God...or spiritual death if you will. When you accept Jesus as Lord, you become spiritually connected again to God.

The separation from God is a spiritual death and not a biological death.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This is not logical. The soul will be judged after death, not the living mortal body. You are following the problem that people had in the beginning of man, God told Adam that he would die if he eat of the tree, he ate of the tree and his physical body began to physical die. Your soul lives on either in Heaven or Hell.

It is not the life in this body but the life of the spirit after this body is gone. So that takes faith, so what? If you choice not to believe, fine. If it is true then the spirit will die also. Many believe that there is no life after death anyway so no big lose, right?
Either way we will find out, right?????
What if you choose wrong????
Oh well we all get our own choice.

No,you have it wrong just a little bit.The first part you wrote was correct. My answer to second paragraph is that God had to give us a chance to get to know Him even though He already knows who will accept Him.Secondly, separation necessarily does not mean death. You just have to believe and repent that you have sinned and He will forgive you for your wrong doings.

Scientists are finding proof that belief in God is a genetic trait. Not everyone has it. Give it up and let people who choose not to believe in God well alone.

God is giving everyone a chance to follow Him. He knows our hearts, and is waiting for them to come to Him. If they die then they are separated unto death from Him if they haven't ask Jesus in their hearts.
