You fail to comprehend that all actions, good and bad, have natural end results. God did not put us here so He can intervene in everything. He gives us free will, but with free will comes the natural end result of choice.
I take it you want all the free will in the world without the responsibility which follows your choices?? That IS screwed up! People like yourself do not want to face responsibilities for your actions. You think you get a free pass to do evil, to sin, to hate, to lie and to cheat and NO ONE pays the price for YOUR choice? You lie and hurt people...they pay. You cheat and hurt people, they pay! You do murder and rape, they PAY. WHY? Because every action has a reaction! BASIC logic combined with Science. You want the actions, without a reaction.
God could have stopped 9/11, yes. He does not stop evil from having its natural end because we need to HATE evil. Take away the end result of choice and we will not have to hate anything then. Evil is an action, suffering is the reaction and we should learn to HATE evil.
By allowing us to see the natural end result of ALL actions, He is expecting us to make the choice to follow HIM. If the whole world followed HIM, we would not have to worry about evil causing pain. EVIL caused 9/11 and innocents paid the price. Doesn't that make you hate EVIL? Instead you hate GOD?

Last time I heard, Theism wasn't mandatory. But still, true that religion was used as an excuse for the terrorism of 9/11 and the Crusades were the excuse of the middle ages, plus countless other conflicts throughout our history, all it ever was and still is today, is about money, power, land ownership and greed. Sounds like a religion in itself doesn't it? There are many screwed up Christians but so it is with any group of people that rely on someone else to do their thinking. Co-dependence takes root and soon all logic and common sense is replaced by pleasing the ones in charge. But you don't have to believe in God for that. All you have to believe is that you can't make any good decisions because someone has told you that all your life.

9/11 was tragic. There was no reason for it. Many Christians claim that this is a prophecy that came true. I say bullshit. This is the aftermath of a population of maniacs getting heard. The beliefs of both God and Muhammad caused 9/11, not the imaginary icons.

So then what is your mission in hanging out here in Religion and Spirituality? If you know psychology, or even human nature, this approach won't work, it makes us stronger. You need a new approach.
No, you will get no abuse from me, if you want to be an atheist, I support your right to do that. I guess I don't understand why an atheist would spend time with Christians in this catagory.

God does save them, in his memory. God will resurrect them back to life on a restored paradise earth, while you for your part will miss out on paradise and be destroyed at Armageddon if you remain as you are unless you to die before then and he out of love will also resurrect you back to life unless you continue in your course and should by chance out of your hatred, blasphemy the Holy spirit the only unforgivable sin. So be careful what you do, your fighting against God. You really don't understand what's going on and why God does not interfere, it's an issue of sovereignty that Satan raised in the Garden of Eden and it must be settled and this is the results of what is happening by what Adam and Eve did when they chose self rule aside from God.

In theory, yes. He also could have done something about the 200k+ deaths from the recent tsunami. That's like 65x more people dying. Priorities...

I agree with you. If God is so all-powerful, he's been pretty useless so far.
