Consider this: what message are you sending when you institute such an idea? Some possible messages you might be sending are:
I'm arrogant enough to think that a bunch of people will want to date me and I'm going to use this to weed through the people I don't think are worthy.
This is going to be a one sided relationship; you need to be deemed worthy by me, and then and only then will I be willing to give you the time of day.
I've dated so many psychos in the past that now I'm suspicious of you if you show the slightest interest in me.
Now, I'm not saying that's what *I* would think, but you do have to consider whether or not you want to risk sending those kind of messages out. On the plus side, however, you might attract someone because they thought the whole thing was funny and they decided to get to know you. Just think through the pluses and minuses.

I wouldn't. If I end up single, I'll never remarry or date anyone again.
And erg. I've seen some of those myspace folks. Had one ask me TWICE now to add him, and one of his selling points is that he takes mentally challenged people hunting. Might be an innocent thing to say or do, but what is the first thing you think when you see someone saying stuff like that and then see they've got an application to date them? That guy's tried to get me to add him twice.

Well not really cause an application don't make you special from the others and what you put on there doesn't mean its the Truth and if it ain't no job i don't feel the need to require a resume.unless you just do it for fun and laughter but a real women or a rel man don't get into stuff like that its eather you what it or you ain't.

It's fun to joke about, but in all seriousness, I wouldn't do it. I need a girl that's more laid-back than that.

If it was a certain girl, then yes, I'd do what ever it takes to get her and her parents to allow me to date her.
