It depends on the type of hair that you have. However, I would never leave it on the hair for more than about 15-20 seconds. If it gets really hot, not even that long.

I would first try it for a few sec. if you dont like the way it turns out or if it does nothing leaving it a little while longer but don't leave in no more than 1 min if your hair is fine or damaged or it will burn.

Honey, please! Why would you want to do that to your hair? Not only is it waaay out of style, but would really damage it.
