I hadn't heard that. It can certainly affect fertility, but I had not heard of birth defects based on drug use by the father. Neither link mentioned anything on those lines. Anyone else?

yes, it can. My friend's little girl is missing some fingers because her boyfrined was using drugs. She was very upset after the child was born because she had no clue that his drug use could affect the baby that way.

a fathers drug use cannot hurt the unborn fetus or baby once its born. the only thing that can hurt the baby is if the mother was a drug user. its her body that the baby is feeding off of to grow inside her, not the fathers body. and sperm cannot carry drugs in it....drugs kill sperm off and therefore only good sperm can be given to actually create a baby.
