It isn't your fault he is interested in you. I would never date my best friends ex. For one, we don't have the same taste in men, for another, it is just a standard rule not to do that in my book. I couldn't be mad at someone who dated an ex of mine though. It would be up to them.

He would be an ex for a reason.

I wouldn't be mad at you. It isn't your fault. She sounds like she is insecure. I would confront her. Tell her she shouldn't let a man become between your friendship. Especially when you aren't interested in him.

STAY AWAY.. there's other guys out there. She's probably paranoid since he left her... so I dont know why she's being childish about it. He probably broke up with her for a reason. hopefully all works out since she's ignoring.

What else can you do? You told her you don't want him. Perhaps remind her that he's obviously a douche bag and it's a good thing they're not together.

don't go out with him, and go off on the girl. tell her its not your fault that the kid likes you. if she wants to be that way, so be it. a friend who doesn't trust you with that, ain't really worth your time & its not the good friend you thought she was.

You should stay away from him, because he was your friends old boyfriend, there are plenty of other guys out there.
