well i walk up to them and say hi and introduce myself and ask a general question to find something in common to break the ice. gradually i spend more and more time with that person and become really close friends thats how i became to know my best friend. i asked her where she was from and i happened to have gone there that summer so we started talking about there. well good luck making friend but make sure your yourself or it will never work out.

Smile and strike up a light hearted conversation. See if they have anything in common with interests.
The more people you meet, the more friends you will have.

be a ppl person and try talking bout your interests, but make sure you are true to yourself. Those that like you for you will be the ones to hang around

Try going to a local church to get connected with people..It might take a little while to find the right church but you will know in your spirit once you find it..

It is hard to do, but just remember no matter what you do in the process....BE YOURSELF! Never mold yourself into to someone else to make people like you or fit in.....it will drive you crazy!! :)
