i got stung by a bee or a wasp today n i'm havin a skin reaction. Like i'm all red n there r ichy bumps everywhere.wat should i do..like i already put some skin stuff so im not ichy no more. do i need togo to tha hospital? wat else should i do?my face is all swollen

Take 50 mg of benadryl if you are an adult.
If that doesn't help, go to the ER.

I got stung by a wasp several years ago on my hand and my hand swelled up. I had never been stung before so I thought the swelling was normal. The next day my hand was still swollen, plus I had red lines starting to go up my arm. I showed it to one of my friends. She told me to go to the pharmacy, show it to the pharmacist who might recommend Benedryl which usually takes away swelling. It didn't work for me. I had to go to the doctor the next day. He immediately started me on antibiotics because I was getting the red lines which are the beginning of blood poisoning. If the antibiotics didn't start getting the swelling down in 2 days, I would have had to go into the hospital.
I know this is long winded, but please don't mess with this. Are you near a pharmacy? Maybe it's best to go there or maybe even to the E. R.

If swelling and itching are the only symptoms, you probably don't need to go to the hospital. My guess is you're having a delayed type hypersensitivity reaction, which isn't the kind that normally requires an immediate hosptial visit. If the sympoms are getting worse, or if you're having trouble breathing, then I would go.

That reminds me of a humorous tale: a guy and lady bypass out on a picnic. He is going away to alleviate himself, and gets stung by using a bee on his penis. He runs back screaming, and the girl drives him to the closest emergency room. merely earlier the physician sees the guy, the girl pulls him aside and asks, "checklist, is there any way you supplies him some thing to eliminate the soreness, yet go away the swelling?" :)

If your face is swallon after you were bit in the neck you are probably allergic. You can call the local hospital and see if they say come in.

Go to the drug store and find a medication that best fits your reaction.
If gets worse within a week, go get a checkup just incase.
