Do you think it's to do with the flight or swimming in a dirty sea

It could be either one. It could be swimmer's ear, it could be from the plane ride, or you could just be getting a good old fashioned ear infection. If it's not gone tomorrow, you better go to the doc to get it checked out.

It is most likely to be from the flight, I nearly always have a sore ear after flying and for some reason more so on short flights. But if it is still sore on Monday I would make an appointment with the doctor.

Its probably abit off both, when swimming you must make sure your throughly dry your ears out as leaving water in makes you have ear aches and some times a ear infection. Also the plane does funny things with your ears,so it could be a combination off both.Go to your Gp tomorrow he will look down your ears with a trumpet to make sure theres nothing obstructing in the ear itself,he will probably give you an antiobiotic ear drops for 5-7days to help,as some times the pain can travel down your neck if not treated.Good Luck

I would say that it had to do wit hthe flight. People I know have troubles with sore ears and deafness when they get off a plane. The descent is rough on them and they cant equalize their ears.

It's swimmer's ear - an infection of the outer ear and it can be very painful - make a drs. appointment and get some drops, they usually clear up in a few days when you have the drops.
