want to know if the power is the same

If it's a tower or desktop computer, the power supply should have a 120-240 switch on it. Just slide the switch. Most newer laptop power adapters areautosensing/autoswitching. It will say on the power adapter.

You can bring it in to Australia. The power supply here is 240 volts AC.

Don't know about the power situation, but with airport security nowdays you would almost be better off sending it over!

of course you can. why not? if not, go to Radio Shack before you go and get a power converter...

they are cheap..they would know..or call up your computer manufacture...or Best Buy or Fry's electronics

it's not, you might need a converter and they will be pleniful.
