I am a freshman in high school, and in many of my classes, there is a girl I have my eye on that went to the other Jr. High.
She has no idea who I am. I have never had a serious conversation with her.
I basically have a clean slate.
What are some ideas as to how I could possible get her as a girlfriend?

Dont come across like you are trying to "pick her up" you will sound and look like a dufus, and guarantee that you wont be successful
Act like you just want to be there friend, but that it doesnt really matter to you if they talk to you or not. Dont be too interested.
Despite what the broads say, they want a guy that is a little out of their reach.

Women don't know what they want.
Try to be her friend, and talk often. Be there for her if she comes to you, but don't hang out with her and try to talk to her all the time. The guy who's there for them but doesn't always seem to be going after them drives them crazy. Do nice things, be a nice guy, but don't open up everything and try to make her think she's the most important thing in your life. Girls want a bad, mysterious guy, because it's attractive, but they want a nice guy who'll treat them well. So go inbetween.

try talking to her about anything. i had a freshmen this year ask me out. he started by talking to me for just about anything, and when ever he got the chance.. then he stalked me when i start walking one day home, and he asked me out half way to my house. just talk to her, and get to know her.
