when theyre breaking the law for being here in the first place? the laws are there for a reason. they help preserve our american culture and keep jobs here for americans. jobs americans would and did do before illegals came. also--half the jobs they take are jobs like mcdonalds. not exactly back breaking. i am convinced there is no argument you can make that is actually relevant supporting illegals. and if anyone says its racist they can be discredited then and there for the reasons i explained. aren't illegals nothing more than criminals who are too lazy to fix their own country so they come here to make ours like theres? seriously, if illegals are such better workers, why did our countries turn out so different? because americans did a better job. if they come here they'll just bring us down to a fricken 3rd world spanish speaking country. and nobody wants that. except for maybe illegals. agree?

danimal--uve got to be kidding about the culture one. the town i used to live in was overrun by them. they stole what our culture had and im not just gonna smile and say ok you deserve it! there is a such thing as american culture. and also, you say they take jobs americans wont do. way to have faith in the american citizen buddy. we built this country on hard labor. theres plenty of poor american citizens who would take the job for a FAIR waige. and americans would be willing to pay a little more for fruit to fix the problem!

I can agree with some of what you say.I've worked in the building trades for almost twenty years. Some people come here illegally and later assimilate into society. The norm however is these people come here to work tax free and send a good portion of the money home while taking whatever government help is available to them.I never hired anyone who couldn't prove citizenship or show me a green card. But I have worked for many employers who take advantage of them. The whole amnesty thing should actually been called TRAVESTY because many people who now have amnesty have broken a great many laws

Obviously the controversy over English being the official language of America rolls on. Whoever is saying that "illegals" are law abiding citizens isn't getting the definition of the word "illegal" in the first place. So I will break it down for anyone who may be under the wrong idea. The correct definition from Websters New AMERICAN Dictionary, it's defined as follows: not lawful, not sanctioned by official rules, synonyms for illegal are: unlawful, criminal, illegitimate, illicit, wrongful.
I hope this clears it up for the people using illegal and law abiding together in the same sentence.

In my opinion, people get mixed up between Undocumented workers and legal citizens, as such Green Cards. Now what happens in U.S. because, our government allows H1B visa in this country and These visa the High tech workers around the world apply and there are 200,000 jobs The Bush Administration let it happened. Then, the Immigration were behind and 12 millions undocumented workers are in U.S. and these are the low paying jobs if we compare to H1B visa and legal worker. We are talking about $60,000 a year of legal workers compare to$20,000 t0 30,000 a year and some that work who in the farm and get less pay.Depends on the employers who hired them and take advantage of low wages.Meanwhile,The administration and our government allow the co operations outsourcing their job to China and India. Now we are talking about unemployment in America, and why we have so many Latin America around and low pay workers and Unfortunately, they crossed the borders and stayed.I urge you to write your Congress,Senators and The White House and ask them what is our future in this country and We can not pay for benefits for 12 millions illegal and these people sent money home 3 billion dollars per year.

How do illegal immigrants impact our American culture? Also, many illegals to fill jobs that many people would not take. Who would be willing to go a pick strawberry fields? would you do that for your job? Their work often enables the rest of America to continue with their other higher paying jobs. If your argument is that they work at McDonald's and you don't, why not fill an application out for McDonald's? You would not do the work that they do, thus enabling you to get your fruit and vegetables at the market, to have your fast food places. and just because there is a law doesn't make that an absolute "good" and breaking it and absolute "bad". By your argument, not allowing women and people who did not own land the right to vote was the only way, and the right way. Also, countries end up differently for multiple reasons, we have more resources and better land in order to enable our economy to become so powerful. This is an extremely complex issue that cannot be answered in this little space. There are hundreds of books written by people on both sides of the arguments, and I highly suggest you get books from both sides, and come to your own conclusion after investigating a large amount of evidence outside of your own experience and pre-set beliefs.

RESPONSE:
In response to your rebuttal, just the fact that they took over your town is not taking over the culture of the United States. The beliefs and systems of America are what makes up the culture. People can operate within a nation and not contribute of detract to its culture.
And the fact that people have to bring up the argument of a "fair" wage ignores the fact that people are unwilling to do the job. In a world of "fair" wages, those doing physical work would be paid more than those working in offices, but it is the complete opposite. Also, I was using the term "American" so much, because you choose to use the same speech in your original question. and what does not believing people will do a certain job have to do with "having faith in the american citizen"? I'm saying that there a certain jobs people won't do. It's an undeniable fact. If it is true that Americans would be willing to pay a little more for fruit to change the problem, why are taxes levied in order to fight this kind of thing regularly shot down during voting?

Also, I must concede that your initial question cannot be proven wrong, so your point that illegal immigrants are not law abiding citizens is correct. However, your overarching argument that you make aside from your first question is what people are taking issue with. Illegal Immigrants are by definition NOT law abiding (illegal) citizens.

This is a law that is an active enforceable law.Perhaps the pro illegals need to read it,it may surprise you as to who is breaking the law as well

Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)

"Any person who encourages or induces an illegal alien to reside(in the US) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such residence is in violation of law, shall be punished as provided for each illegal alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs fined under title 18 imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both."

Illegals are lawbreakers. Many got here by sneaking in past some snoring duty guard. Some got here in need, but many come just to take our money home. Construction crews here are all illegals. Tell me that is a job no American wants, especially when the road crews get top dollar. They're off the books - which means those who hire them are also lawbreakers.

To answer your question briefly, because they think that crossing the border illegally or overstaying a visa is not a crime and they also even discount the further crimes of using fraudulent SSNs and driving without licenses or insurance. They figure these things don't count, that's why.

Yes, I agree with you 100%!

they also steal identities and run up credit lines of people who actually are law abiding citizens. No one talks about the lives being destroyed because illegals in order to remain here need to milk the system and take advantage of real law abiding citizens. all those forged documents, well, when they steal someones social number or pick it out of the air, someone gets nailed hard, and it isnt the employer or the beaner.

Okay, how stupid are you? Think, numbnut. If you say they're stealing our jobs, then you don't deserve to even be here in f*cking America! The reason why we're so great is because we were founded upon COMPETITION! Therefore, if the UNDOCUMENTED immigrants come and actually get the job you're competing for, that just means they're more adequate than you are, which also means you're the lazy sh*t. Got it? And if it weren't for the Hispanic population, we wouldn't run. You'd freaking die without them in this modern day where you rely so much on convenience and technology. Besides, minimum wage here is so much more than over there, so shut up about the whole "back-breaking work" because it IS significant to them! The highest-paying jobs in Guatemala are like $10 per day, so being able to make this money is very important to them. Besides, why are b*tching about it if you think you're too high and mighty to work at McDonald's? What the f*ck do YOU do that's so special anyway? You're here most likely because your mommy and daddy had you here. If it were up to me, I would have told them to have an abortion.
