Sadly it seems hughly probable. Having just watched The Doomsday Code on Channel 4 this evening it seems a lot of powerful fundamentalist/evagelical Christians are seriously into bringing about The End of Days so that it will bring forth the second coming of Christ. I will be amazed, though much relieived, if Damascus doesn't get nuked by the Israelis within the next 50 years.

WW3 has already occurred (sometimes called the Cold War) in which the US and USSR fought through a number of proxy states and the US won.

What is occurring now is a war on an abstract concept (terror) which the US administration says will last 20 years and will create more "terrorists" than it kills and spread them over a far broader geographical base. If it is WW4, it's about time the countries in the west realised it can't be won the same way WW2 was.

Hi there, interesting enough I was wondering the same thing. Many years ago I was listening to LBC and the same topic was under discussion. This was in the mid 80s.God I hope not! But if a war did break out between Christains and Muslims, it would have been provoked by a third party.....

If you look you will see that it is not just against Christians and Jews but the rest of the world. Look at the riots in France, the terrorist attacks in Spain and Russia. The attacks in Britain, they even attack their own. They fighting in Iraq is being influenced by Iran, Shite against Sunni and both against Kurd. Islamist are pushing to set the whole world on fire.

If this is not true where are the muslims speaking out against the terrorist. They are not speaking out. So by their inaction they are supporting those who push the hate.

I assume you are referring to this. The number in reference to the army 200,000,000.

Rev 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
Rev 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
Rev 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

no, because it's not in islamic values to attack christians becuase they are people of the book. the actions by some emotional people shouldn't represent everyone in the religion. for every 1 person that shows violence, there are 5000,000 other people who don't.think about that.
the struggle and miscommunication between all the religions is part of life and a test. if god wanted everyone to be the same religion he would, then there would be no problems. Plus not all Christians are against Islam so people wouldn't support a war.
we don't need to fight anyone to prove we're right. we know it in our hearts, it's up to everyone to accept it and learn.

Yes, but I don't think the real fight is with the masses of Christians or of Muslims. I think the masses are easily capable of living side by side, it's the fanatics like the Taliban that make it difficult. The Pope sure didn't help with his remarks...what was he thinking...any statements even reading from text that's hundreds of years old can still easily be misconstrued or misquoted - which I think is what happened.

It wouldn't surprise me at all. But that's a pretty stupid thing to have a war over. Although it has been going on for hundreds of years between other religions.
