Wondering if there are any disabled mothers out there, what adaptions do you have. Did you run into any hateful, doubtful people as you were pregnant? What happened and what was your response.
I walk with leg braces and a very odd gait. I have not been approached by anyone at any time (my mother was shocked but not always supportive anyways), but ready for anyone who dares to have anything to say to my face. I am the proud mother of a beautiful 10 month old daughter. And BTW my mother is very proud of her granddaughter!!

I also wear a leg brace and walk funky. I have people say things to my face and behind my back - and yes my family is not the most supportive!@

i am disabled but dont look it . i have cracked discs in my back that cause constant pain , as well as a heart condition.i caught alot of grief for getting pregnant but i didnt care. my son is three and we are trying again

Many people are disabled in their HEADS or they are just plain hateful, they shouldn't have children but they do. Thank God therapy is available
