The Army of God?

My Christian brothers, the time is now unite, and as Warriors of God, as Crusaders, through action we can bring change, as a shield for the innocent, a helping hand for the oppressed, as a Army set down by God we fight beneath His banner and for His glory, these paan Muslims are screaming for a jihad killing thousands of innocent, and I give a rallying call for the true belivers to unite and March out to oppose these evil pagans. and understand that even if we fall in battle, we shall rise in glory with Christ. Praise be to God

There is no "Army of God," per se. There is the church, the body of believers that Christ established to do His will. It is not about fighting Muslims and pagans.

Ours is a warfare of spiritual dimensions. As Paul admonished us, "For the weapons of our warfare are not those of the flesh. Instead, they have the power of God to demolish fortresses. We tear down arguments and every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive in order to obey Christ." (II Corinthians 10:4-5)

You want to really serve in the "Army of God?" Become a missionary to those Muslims and pagans. Demonstrate His incomparable love through acts of mercy. "But 'if your enemy is hungry, feed him. For if he is thirsty, give him a drink. If you do this, you will pile burning coals on his head.' Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good." (Romans 12:20-21)

Who do you think is feeding you all this one sided crap someone who wants a peaceful resolution or someone who is in the greedy and seedy backwaters among the filth rubbing their hands together in a materialistic froth, stirring the kettle of hate and war mongering to further the cause of world domination. The crusades is an obvious example The Pope then wanted to fill his coufers and succeeded. If you were really a lover of God He would show you this and you would turn the other cheek and ignore the clamor and it will go away.

You have a point. They only respect a stronger fist than theirs. Just because the Pope read from the Byzantines readings, they went crazy and burn churches, when history speaks loud and clear of the beginning of Islam spreading in Europe. Whoever didn't changed to Islam had to dear with the sword. But history doesn't leave Christianity off the hook, they did the same when they were colonizing the new world. The crusaders started because of Islam when they rule Europe for 400 years..

If you are a believer you would know God doesn`t need an army .
According to the believers EVERYTHING is God`s will and Plan.
Everyones life was planned by God the day we are born.
Just quoting bible thumpers .Besides, aren`t Christians supposed to be pro - life ?

But I do believe we should protect by Any means our American citizens.
The Japanese were Warned to stop in WW2 and they did not listen,maybe we should do the same in the middle east.

If you want to try to make changes, go right ahead, but it does not matter what you do, God intends to destroy this old system of things, along with anyone involved with it. Consider where you would be if you stayed in Sodom to try and change things? You would have met their same fate. Not being able to turn away from the old system and you will meet the same fate as Lot's Wife, you just had to turn back to the old system.

In our western countries we have welcomed immigrants from everywhere and granted them the freedom to worship who they want, unless they pretend to change our society.
I hope the solution will come not from an open war, but by the reaction of the non fanatic, everyday people, who are the real victims on both sides.

When Peter smote the temple guard with a knife and struck off his ear, defending Jesus from arrest by the way, did Jesus praise Peter or rebuke him? Are you speaking of physically fighting or spiritually fighting? We can have spiritual warfare through prayer which is our call. Jesus said to love. He said there would be wars. What can we do if it is to be so.

It sure sounds like a joke, doesn't it? Yet there are many preachers across our country who are saying this almost word for word. That should scare people more than the Muslim extremists do.
