The premise of this so-called "question" is demonstrably false. Globally, there are about 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witnesses, yet about 14 million associate with Jehovah's Witnesses. Their publications "The Watchtower" and "Awake!" enjoy circulations of about 27 million and 32 million per issue.

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.

Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.

However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.

(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers

Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

There is that "hate" word again. I do not hate them, I do not hate anyone. If a person's belief is different than mine then so be it. I am not here to judge, God will judge all. I have had many good conversations with Jehovah's Witnesses, they are good people.

Know doubt you probably heard false and hateful things about Witnesses particularly on yahoo answers! As Witnesses we can expect this kind of treatment based on what Jesus told his disciples. One of the identifying marks of true Christians is that they will be 'objects of hatred.' -Matthew 24:9/Luke 6:22 and of course you just acknowledged we are hated. One reason why we are hated according to John 17:16, is that we are no part of this world. Jesus says that before we were hated he himself was hated because once again he was no part of this world.
John 15:19 If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, on this account the world hates you.(Read on to verse 23) & 1 Peter 4:4. All we can do is put up with it and live our lives according to the Bible. To clear all the misunderstandings why not visit www.watchtower.org to see what Witnesses really believe. I hope this helps.

I dont sweetie. I'm one of them. And also, we don't mean to annoy people by knocking on their doors and preaching the word of God, but it's just that we are trying to follow what Jesus Christ asked us to do by preaching God's word to the nations. If you feel like we are bothering you, next time a Jehovah's Witness knocks on your door, just ask them to stop visiting you and i guarantee you they will.

Think about it. We are trying to teach people the truth according to the bible, and our showing up co-insides with a list of activities a mile long. It doesn't matter to people that we are trying to save lives. Theirs.........And the boat they needed to leave on may be gone when they do arrive.
The main thrust of reason lies in the fact that Satan prevents us from doing our God assigned work!
Teaching the truth to people who don't want to hear it is tough, but Jesus said to do it, so...........on ward we go to the next house! Knock.....Knock!

Not everyone hates them. They are just annoying. They always seem to come to the door when you are in the middle of doing something important. I understand they are trying to get into heaven by converting as many people as they can, but if I have a question about what you believe, I'll go to you, don't come to me.
