Islam is one of the best religions in the world practiced by some of the worst people in the world.

There is a lot of hate in this world, and a lot of people
use God and Religion as a means to hate and feel
justified in doing so.

Obviously the person that you were talking to had an attitude. They began with politically correctness and sensitivity to the religion and wound up incorrect and abrasive. It is not our jobs in life to make right or wrong other peoples beliefs, abilities or personalities. I think it has been said before but take the log out of you own eye before worrying about the speck in mine and that should be taken to heart. If so many ppl would stop judging others then maybe there would finally be a place to start reasoning for peace. Why would someone else want peace if they think you hate them anyway?

I agree with that, that is a very good way of putting it. You could also insert any other religion into that sentence, as there are good and bad people in every religion. And it doesn't say practiced by all the worst people in the world, it says SOME of the worst.

I don't agree..
I believe that there are many decent ppl who practice Islam, and it shouldn't be stereo-typed based on a fanatic few. I'm Christian, and I wouldn't want anyone to stereo-type all Christians based on Jerry Falwell.. I'm sure Catholics wouldn't want Catholicism stereo-typed on the child-molesting priests.. it's not fair to make those types of statements on any group of ppl.

It's not one of the best, It's THE BEST.
but remember:All Muslims are not a real Mulim. Islam is perfect but muslims are imperfect. and it's really obvious.
