I like to put some songs into my phone but they consume the memory too fast..like I want to compress the files to get more songs.

You can re-encode the songs using lower sample rate.

I use Audacity which available for windows, linux and mac. It's a great tool for editing audio files.

if your video and and music are in MP3 and AVI type data, they are already compress and you wont see plenty or any progression in zipping them or changing report formats in the event that they are uncooked data then you somewhat could compress them to MP3's and AVI (or the different video format).
