I suggest all-natural Stress Relief Complex. Four all-natural ingredients enable your own body reduce the effects of stress.
Promotes relaxation without drowsiness L-theanine, a naturally occurring amino acid found in green tea, helps generate alpha waves that creates a relaxed yet alert mental state.
Enhances the body's ability to adapt to continuing stress. Ashwagandha, an Ayurvedic herb that enhances the body's ability to adapt to stress.
Helps reduce the effects of everyday stress by blunting the cortisol response to stress. Beta-Sitosterol, a natural plant sterol, helps blunt cortisol, a hormone producted during physical stress.
Helps make norepinephrine, which is involved in mood regulation. L-tyrosine is an amino acid produced by the body to make the neurotransmitter norepinephrine.
Enables the body to create the antibodies necessary to cope with prolonged stress.
NO KAVA - a "fad ingredient" that the FDA warned may cause severe liver injury.
Also B-Complex. The B vitamins feed the nerves and have a profound effect on mental and emotional stability. Stress, medications, sugars, and alcohol all rob the body of B vitamins.
Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions or the website.

The benzodiazepine drugs like Ativan, Xanax, Valium, work for some people but can be addicting. Propranolol is somewhat effective because it blocks the fight or flight response associtated with stress and anxiety. Non-drug people will urge you to learn deep breathing techniques.

Yes, there are medications for stress. I don't recall what their name is, but they are out there. As for side effects, all meds have some side effects. Most aren't serious. Check with your doctor about it.

It's usually classified as "Anxiety" and there are alot of them out there that work quite well.
I take Paxil for depression & anxiety & I feel as "normal" as the next person. Stuff doesn't bug me out like it used to & I can handle most of the situations my life throws at me.
