You could try sending flowers or other gifts that essentially say "I'm sorry", but you will have to talk to the person eventually.

Just apologize for making him angry and let him know you care of perhaps love him. Perhaps it was the force behind what you said and not necessary what you said. Then again if you want to apologize for what ever reason it seems pehaps you did do something wrong. So take back what you said and so what you are broke up now, so what will be the difference-either way seems like you lose.

You can simply say " I did not mean to sound as harsh as I did. I meant what I said but, I could have put it in better words. The next time we have a discussion I will think before I speak. I love you and do not want to hurt you the way I did. Please forgive me for saying it the way I did." That way you stood behind your words but, acknowledged that it may have come out worse than you intended.

If u really meant what u said.. then i really don't think there is a need to apologize. I mean if she is unhappy with your truthfulness, then there is no need to be together.. If you can't tell the truth why should ther even be a relationship?

You can start by acknowledging that they are hurt or upset. If it truly WAS NOT your intent to cause those feelings, then apologize for them feeling bad and point out you don't enjoy hurting them.

Saying you're sorry isn't an admission of guilt. I'd approach it like I was sorry about how they took it.
