I was in a conversation with a girl friend that I am pretty sure likes me. I just met a good friend of hers that I did not know. While we were talking online, she asked what I thought of her friend. I said she was nice and then asked where she had met the girl. She responded with an answer and then asked "why?" I cared to know? Did I do something wrong? Thanks for any help in helping me understand her!

Sounds to me like its a simple case of jealousy. Girls are funny creatures, they assume because you ask about another girl its because you like them. But unless you ask her you will never really know.

if you were talking online, she probably took the question the wrong way. i know that it's very difficult to talk to someone online that i'm just starting to really like b/c you dont know each other well enough yet, so your messages just get construed and taken the wrong way. talk to her in person and tell her that you asked that just to make conversation and i'm sure she'll understand.

she might have thought that you thought this other girl was pretty or liked this other girl.

Sounds like she is immature and insecure. You did not do anything wrong. If you really like this girl make it clear that you did not like her friend like that and you were just trying to be nice. If she still insists on being jealous of people around, ditch her and find a mature and secure woman, otherwise it will be a relationship of ego stroking, hers.

that was a very confusing way to state that question, but the answer, as much as you don't want to hear it is yes, in the future tell a woman everything she wants to hear, and do your best to mean it... thats what makes a "perfect boyfriend" okay? appologize and explain the dillemma to her, try to make her understand what you really meant, if she doesn't belive you, that's a sign that she likes you.... so unfortunately you had to do something bad to find something good, good luck and have a nice conversation with her, don't get mad... be patient. as patience is a virtue

If I understood your question correctly, i don't think you stated anything wrong. She just didn't seem to think that was any of your business but it just sounds to me like y'all were making casual conversation so i say move on to another subject.

it sounds like she is testing you to see if you like this other girl or not. and if she seems jealous latter on, call her on it and ask her why she cares if you ask about this other girl and if she stumbles on her words and can't come up with a good answer, she probably really likes you.

To me it sounds like you wanted her friend. Just explain yourself and say that you are not interested in anyone but her and that will make her feel alot better.

ur crush told her friend she likes u so her friend is testing whether u liked her back or not. and she mite hav meant it in a challenging way. not a mean way... so it depends

From a women's point of view, it sounds like she is jealous of her friend. Best thing to do, ask her...

Yes you did. You should of gouged your own eyes out rather than look at another girl.
