correct it? you cant you can go for counseling but you also need meds to control the symptoms its all in the brain and its up and down its a chemical thing i have a mother in law who suffers from this and she thinks she needs no medication and nothing is wrong with her but her spending is out of control she lies compulsivly and hurts the entire family with her words and actions and still thinks everything is all nice and dandy there is no way you can control this on your own without meds

There is a cure.
It's called a good as s kicking. Some bones got to get broke and maybe cut off a couple of fingers or an ear. Break some teeth out. Douche that b.... with some ammonia to sterilize her so she can't reproduce.
Problem solved.
Now you can get her some real help. Have her committed to a long term mental hospital for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) with Compulsive characteristics, Skitzophenia with Bipolar Manifestations. Librium/Thorazine/Oxycontin/Mag Citrate milkshakes 3 times a day. Depends or rectal bag as needed for bowel incontinence.

if you mean making it stop that's almost impossible without seeing a mental health specialist and getting medication. I have OCD, but lying isn't a part of it. You may be a pathological liar and that's something altogether different, but see a doctor anyways. it may help and certainly wont hurt. Good Luck

religious human beings do have an obsessive compulsive sickness. i think of it relatively is why they dangle on religious boards each and all of the time to voice their opinion that God does not exist, and make 1000's of video clips approximately God and non secular human beings on youtube. Oh wait, it relatively is atheists.

There is no such diagnosis. There is, however, pathological lying which is hard to treat. These people need to face reality. Maybe they are Schizophrenic in some form. Believe, truly, what they are saying.

Theres a good question. My now 20 yr old step daughter is like that. And she knows shes doing it. We have tried meds, but they had no effect on her. Tried counciling, they gave up on her. I really wish I could help you, but we are trying to find the answer ourselves.Hope you fair better than we.
