With so many Christians in the world how could anyone be called anything else and deceive a Christian?

There will be an Anti-Christ who will arise and claim to be Christ. And yes there will be many people who will be deceived by him. The anti-christ is going to deceive many people because he makes the bad things seem good. The Anti-Christ does this because he is a false angel of light.
That's why the Bible says that we are to always be on our guard at all times.

They will probably be charismatic.
It'll be a strong delusion, so it's important to know what the Bible says about him.
