Pride and Insecurity causes mankind to yearn for some sense of control in their lives.
It takes Humility to ever admit there is one greater and wiser than yourself.
This is why Logic is more palatable to the insecure, because logic takes only the limited power of mankind. Therefore when mankind achieves manmade logic, He can stand with false pride, stick out his chest and say "Look what I did!"
Faith is quite another undertaking all together. It is acknowledgement of ones mortality, ones fragile state. Most importantly the need for a Saviour who is far wiser than we......

Because Logic has created the computer your now typing away at..last time i checked, Faith never cured an illness, invented a new wonder or furthered the Human condition
Logic has a base for its existance, and it has results. Faith has neither

You need both!
Without logic you wouldn't make any sense.
Without faith you'd be afraid to even cross the street (faith doesn't mean religion. look it up).

Religious man get stuck in a Flood. Goes up to the church up on the hill. Guys come by in boats and tells him to get in. He says "The Lord Will Provide". More rains come. Floods the first floor of the church. Man goes up to the second floor. Sees more guys in boats rescuing people. Waves and says "The Lord Will Provide". Even more rains come. Guy goes up to the roof. A helicopter flys by evacuating people. Guy waves to them and says "The Lord Will Provide". Even more rain comes. Guy drowns.
At the pearly gates, guys ask St. Peter "Why did God Forsake me???" St. Peter looks at his book and says "Dunno, he sent two boats and a helicopter".
