You know, I don't think you're a freak. That is my honest opinion.
Everyone is a little different and that is remotely no reason to judge people. Not unless it is your fault which it isn't.

I can't say 'been there, done that' but I can assume to know how to feel. I know all too well because I understand. I'm sure there is something you can do that other may find difficult.

I'm 16-years-old... it must me hard for you, I know. But God doesn't put something in front of you that he doesn't - mean - to be there. He never gives you more than you can handle. And that is the beauty of life.

Stay safe. - Maryam

Absolutely not!!! You are not a freak. Do the things you WANT to do and hang out with the kids you WANT to hang out with. We all have a "condition" that makes us feel inferior, even perfectly healthy people are sometimes too shy to even live. Live your life to the fullest, get involved in something you really feel like you want to put your heart and soul into, don't let any of the symptoms you have slow you down. The Lord made you and loves you just as much as anyone else and you have the right to be happy and enjoy life!!!!! Go do it!!!

the only freaks in this world are the people who let life rush them by without getting to know people like you...I could say that I know how you feel, but that would be a lie. But I will tell you I empathize with you. Being a teenager is no picnic, and to have all of this compounded and placed on your shoulders only makes things harder.
I'm a Christian, and I believe that God will only give us burdens that He can bear with us. I also believe that God only gives certain burdens to certain people...people special enough to get through the hardships of life with those burdens.

You are unique. You are special. You were created in the image of God. The same God that creates the beautiful sunsets, the beautiful landscapes, and everthing you see, hear, smell, taste and touch. He never creates freaks, only precious, blessed creations of love.

It must be hard, I can only imagine what you are going through. But I know God has plans for you, magnificent plans that only you can make happen. He needs you, He wouldn't have created you if He didn't. And most of all He loves you, He doesn't create something and leave it behind. All this is probably hard to understand (like me trying to understand your situation), but please be patient a little longer...I'll be praying for you, please keep praying with me.

All of this will work out for the best.

No. I hate to put it this way, but there are always going to be people who make fun of you. And it's not just because you have problems walking. People are made fun of for being fat, for being skinny, for being smart, for not being smart, do you want me to continue this list?

And also, if you really truly appreciate your friends, you wouldn't classify them as those who are overweight or no one likes them. Anyone (not just you) should be thankful for the friends they have. They shouldn't down on them, because if you do, then that makes you no better than the people who make fun of you.

Well, the fact that you can walk when docs didn't suppose you to is a pretty impressive thing that a positive-minded person can exploit in his or her favor.
Are you happy with your friends? Are they happy with you? If both answers are "yes" then cease worrying about what others think.

Hell no! You are only a freak if you think you are. Now brush off those shoulders and start acting like the pimp you are.
