Is Funner A Word

2016-11-09 23:28:25 · answer #2 · answered by nickelston 4 · 2 0

If you want it to be, it is. How's that? 60 years ago, when I was in school, we got reprimanded for saying aint-cuz it wasn't in the dictionary-but now it is. So yes, funner is good! Someday that word will be as well, I'm sure of it. When you get older, like me, it will funner to look back on these days and laugh. Right? Besides, funner aint so bad a word.

OMG. I am very stupid, when I talk, I always use that word. "It was so much funner!".. Well, I guess it's not a word, because everyone said it. :P

ha, this question reminds me of my 12th grade english teacher. Anytime somebody would say funner she would make them repeat themselves using "more fun" since that is the proper way.

She did the same thing with the word mad. You should really say angry because mad really means crazy.

Not technically. it's suppose to be more fun or most fun. But I use funner anyway.

It's a neologism but is considered grammatically incorrect.
