The atheists use the symbol for an atom with an A in it. I have the earrings. If you click on the link, the symbol is in gold on the top left-hand side of the page. The second link takes you to the jewelery page.

There is no sign for the logical reason that we don't need any way of identifying ourselves. We aren't a cause. We are a no-cause. We don't have organisations, or rituals or set activities (although of course sometimes unbelievers come together, but that's not TO enforce unbelieving activities). So, there would be no use having a sign to show we don't believe. That would be like all left-handers in the world had a symbol.

The WIkipedia article is easily superb: i prefer to recommend it to you. There are particularly some theories as to the place it comes from, and that is been utilized in many approaches, oftentimes related with faith, by potential of many diverse cultures in Asia, North u.s. and someplace else, for a minimum of 10,000 years. that could be a shame that the emblem has grow to be so heavily linked with the evil which Nazi-form of questioning represents.

There is an emblem that American atheist military veterans can put on their tombstones. This symbol is approved by all branches of the U.S. military. As others have stated, it resembles an atomic symbol.

As atheists/agnostics aren't part of a cult (sorry, religion) they have no need for a symbol to represent them. They are simply individuals who don't believe in any gods.

Yeah, I know Rob. Just feeling slightly flippant. It is just what a lot of people prefer to worship these days (including Christians).
