Love is good, but not necessary to have first.
Our actions define our thoughts and feelings.
If you commit to someone and they commit to you in marriage selflessly, mutual love will develop naturally. Many of us in the west look down on arranged marriages, but it can work and be full of love if these principles are used.
On the other hand, many previously happy married couples 'fall out of love' because they are selfish. The key to love is mutual submission, thinkng of the other person first.
So the right kind of love is definitly good for marriage.

A couple shouldn't get married if they truly aren't in love with one another. If there is no love there won't be any honesty, respect, fidelity, or proper communication. To me a marriage without love sounds like a marriage for some kind of convenience.I really don't think it would last any length of time.

Yes, after all the traditional saying is: 1st comes love, 2nd comes marriage, 3rd comes a baby in a baby carriage. No, seriously. You should marry for love. If you don't love the other person, you shouldn't marry them because you'll just end up divorced and miserable.

Why would you get married if there was no love involved. Unless you were forced into marriage...

sometimes it isnt honestly !!
most of the time it is.. because it helps you withstand a lot...
but respect, understanding, and communication plays a lot.
There are a lot of people that get married and are not inlove, but because they get along so well they learn to love each other.
Sometimes two people are inlove, but most of it is based on attraction and they get the two confused. Years down the line it messes everything up.
