Dear Debra...I browsed through this site, and think it is beneath you make an issue of it. It may not sound plausible to you, but it is in the powerful, and diabolical interests such as Zionist Jews and US oil lobby and weapons manufacturers to demonize Muslims and Arabs. It shocked me immensely when I heard that the present pope has also got on the bandwagon. If we go by actual acts involving terrorism, US and Israel are BY FAR leaders in this area. Since the start of the second invasion of Iraq three years ago, over 60000 civilians have been killed in Iraq alone, and in the years between Bush the father's assault and his son's invasion over 500000 (half a million) deaths of children have been acknowledged to be the consequence of the policies of sanctions imposed by America. When this information was brought to the attention of Mrs. Albright, the former US Secretary of State, in her response she justified it. You can easily find the documentation for this on the net. And the devastation in Lebanon speaks for itself. Why is it that the pope is so silent on actually committed crime of this magnitude, while he denigrates Islam. I don't ask you to take my words for granted, but be a seeker for the truth...after all, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened.

Yeah, I am glad you added the detail that this was NOT a church sanctioned site. I was just about to assure you of this when I noticed the added details. This is definately not church teaching. I wouldn't believe any site or claim like this from ANY church or individual.

Iraq is going to be in no position to lead an assault on Europe by 2009. They might just about have got a reliable electricity supply back by then, if they're lucky.

I don't believe a word of it. Somebody has a very vivid imagination. That's not to say there will not be an increase in wars. I just don't believe that anybody has a way to predict events in such detail.

Interesting, however every religion has it's "doomsday" story, even the ancient pagan ones. Is it possible that humanity just cannot stand the thought of infinity with no other purpose, but perpetuation of the species?

There will never be a time when protestants join any branch of Catholicism...and this entire thing is silly. No one knows any dates for sure about anything.
