Actually Riddick is still fighting and has a fight next month against a guy named Ron Bellamy. He did go to jail and (as a Retired Marine Corps Sgt myself) I like to forget his feeble attempt at the Corps.

He was diagnosed with a brain tumor and his boxing license was revoked. He managed to get a doctor to give him a clean bill of health to go back to the ring, but not in Vegas, New York or California. With the division the way it is don't be surprised if he is fighting for a title sometime in the near future.

Hope this helps clear up the confusion. Also I added the web page where you can see the fight schedule that contains the Riddick Bowe fight (in Oregon). Til next time.

He seemed to have lost his love for the sport. He also had gotten into some trouble domestically with his wife.
