Good point. It seems that people who don't believe in God are the majority of those who are in Religion & Spirituality section.

On the other hand, those who really do know Jesus can't stop talking about His love.

I agree with it. I've found that athetists really have a certain insecurity, and they tout it as an arrogant helpfulness that they're right and everyone else is inferior because they believe in a higher power. It's stemming from fear. And, as is a human trait, we crave others to validate our ideas-- that's why religion is a group effort, and that's also why athetists like to get others to join them.

Lip service. I find most of the talk of God here is pretty much equal. Believers talk about God just as much as non-believers. That's what makes the debate.

I fully agree with that statement - lol.

You know what? I used to label myself as "atheist". Until I saw many "atheists" keeping on talking about "god's non-existence" and so on.

Here, in yahooQA. I really felt that "atheist"-label was intrincally incoherent. Those so-called atheists here talk too much about "god", in my view. And they only focus on one deity, ie the deity that Christians worship.

Strange... Maybe it is typically american (I am French).

Well, since then, I label myself as "unbeliever", ie "someone who doesn't and won't ever trust any kind of religious & spiritual belief".

I got rid of that "atheist"-label.

And now, I am proud to say that I am a free unbeliever who is fan of planetology (exact science that studies any kind of planets).

Salman Rushdie said that atheists like himself are more obsessed with God than other people are.
