it's up to the person. for me i would prefer a former friend as a boyfriend cuz i know a lot about him and there's no need to spend more time to know him better ,so we can move on in our relation so quickly.

both for the fact if i went out with a former friend i would know him better and i would know how he really is. but then if he is a good friend then i wouldn't because realationships ruin friendships sometimes. And then if you go out with a new guy you are meeting someone new and he might be better then the friend you already know.

I'd rather the former friend as I know better that person because obsession will end up wearing away. I'd want more than just the physical attraction.

If sex does not ruin the friendship, then obviously friend is preferable to some 'obsessive compulsive' guy, because the latter can turn out to be... just anything.
