Or, do you figure he had intended to apologize, but thought twice about it when islamic nutjobs started bombing churches, essentially provinging him right, even if only by accident out of shear stupidity. Wow, the Byzantine Emporer the Pope was taken out of context quoting may have been pretty insightful, even in the 14th Century.

And,
Aren't all Muslims getting tired of taking the rap for a group of finatics doing things in the name of all Islam? When is the Muslim Community going to stop criticizing the world for being critical, and start pulling the weeds from their own garden?

FOR MIDO:
If you don't actually read, watch, or even listen to the news about what happened after the Pope's speech, then don't bother to respond. Look it up yourself. And no, retard, it's not on mars. You, however, may be.

Oh, And Mido, if you the Muslim people can't do anything, then who can? You know, that's like saying that we here in the U.S. can't do anything about the war in Iraq. Would you believe that? Of course you wouldn't. Nah, what really gets under your skin is that on September 11th, 2001, the United States stopped letting islamic terrorist kill our people without retaliating. If you really want to help people get along like your profile says, start with not blaming the US governement for tying your hands. Seems like no one in this world we all share but the US and the UK truly have the intestinal fortitude to stand up and fight eye for eye. Just putting some pretty talk in you profile about getting along with people doesn't help. And besides giving your country millions every year in tourism, what the hell has the US done to egypt that you need to badmouth us?

I would have been bothered if the pope had apologized. He did nothing for which to apologize. The Muslim community does have a lot of "weed pulling" to do as far as I am concerned.

I personally think they should fight fire with fire, pick at our, well not really mine, prophets, trust me there not perfect in the least, or let them point out how many wars were fought to spread Catholism around the world, inculding wars with them, which some they won and converted all those Christain to Islam. Up untill a Zar or Sar or whatever decide if they conquered a place then they can practice freely, and I think that Zar or Sar or whatever formed the city state of Turkey, no that was that guy who denonced all Zar or Sar or whatever, and established a democracy.

NO, and I don't think he should be forced to apologize. I have read a translation of the speech in question. If somebody bothers to take the time, they will find a really scholarly point to consider, and not hate-rhetoric in this speech.

Judging by sound-bites is lazy. I can't believe the lazy people get all the press time!

If the muslims had read his speech in context, then they would know that all he was doing was quoting a Byzantine Emporer (like you said). So no, I'm only bothered by the Muslims.

Those fanatics were trained and enforced in the first place by the CIA to use them against the soviets and we the Muslim people don't have the power to stop anything..thanks to your government and the dectators here taking support from it.

No, I am not.

A person should be free to say what he or she thinks and should not be condemned for doing so.

I am tired of a group pretending to be victims when they are attacking.
