My boyfriend just got back from Thailand yesterday. About a week?
ago he was bit by a large ant on the foot. At first it got red and swollen, and now it's blisstered. Also he is having leg pains now and is feeling week and sick. Should he go to the doctor? I'm worried. What could it be? Thanks

different people react to different insect bites...sounds to me like your boyfriend has an infection that seems to be spreading...seek medical attention as soon as possible

I would take him to the doctor right away. This sounds like an allergic reaction or possibly a skin infection. A doctor will be able to get rid of it no matter which it is. Doctors are the formost medical authority and I strongly advocate going to them for any medical problem no matter what it is. I wish you guys the best of luck.
