Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus as mightiest sinless prophet of God .No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (a.s).Muslims love Jesus, they respect Jesus (a.s) and give him higher honour just as they give to Muhammad (a.s)
............
but look at the response they get from christian world, painting cartoons of Prophet .... now the pope's comment inciting hatred ....

How many of you respect Muhammad (a.s) same as Muslims respect Jesus (a.s) ???

I agree that many Christians are intolerant of all other religions and atheists/agnostics. They won't feel secure in their "belief" until they convince everyone else that they'll go to hell if they don't "believe." They have sadly neglected to study the history of the Roman Catholic Church. Many of them don't even recognize Catholicism as Christianity, even though that was the ONLY Christianity for 1600 years of the common era.

Read what they have to say about Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses. Don't feel upset about how they feel about Islam -- they say the same things about other Christians!
Hypocrites -- too many hypocrites!

First, I would say that the "painting cartoons" were not from the Christian world, they were from the secular. I think too much has been made of the Pope's comment...it was a quote, not a personal statement. He rightly called for ALL people to peace and love.

Please don't misunderstand, I'm not a "hater", but I do have a question that puzzles me. The Muslim community was very vocal when it came to the "cartoons", They were also very vocal when it came to this statement from the Pope. My question is, where is the outrage of Muslims denouncing the hate and violence being done it its name? If your is a peaceful religion, where are those strong leaders who are seeking to reclaiming it from the radicals. Again, I'm not trying to bash. As an outsider, I simply find that aspect very troubling....

Relative to Muhammad, I think that most Christians do not disrespect him...nor do they revere him. Christians believe that Christ was more than a prophet. In Jesus, all has been made complete and there is no expectation of "new prophets" or "new revelations"...

I'm a Christian, and I feel bad about what the Pope said about the Muslum community. I don't believe that Muhammad was a prophet, but it doesn't mean I hate Muslums. I have a friend that's a Muslum, but I do believe Muslums love God just as much as Christians do, and I hope the Muslum Community will for give Pope Benedict

Most Muslims are nice & most Christians are nice & most Christians have no problem with Muslims & most Muslims have no problem with Christians. I have no problem with Nice Muslims. I think Some people are just plain scared since Sept 11. Muslims & Christians alike! Also a cartoon is just a cartoon, its only a joke, why worry about a joke? Like the old saying goes ( sticks & stones may break my bones but names can never hurt me ) It may not been a nice joke but to get so angry over it is not the way to go.Showing love is best.

Every Muslims believes in Jesus a.s but the Christians choose to differ as its their belief that Jesus is god, son of son.but i think majority of do not accept mo hammed saw. since they see
Jesus a.s. their messiah they can't give Mohamed the status of a prophet equal to Jesus a.s. they deny mohammed saw , due to the denial there is little chance for them to understand ISLAM. Should i say its their ignorance of Islam or they have shallow knowledge of Islam . they take the Quran literally. Just like we have radical in Islam who tarnished our religion the Christians have the fanatics who go overboard. If only we can respect one an others belief then can live in harmony and peace

Religious humor has a long tradition in the west. Jesus, Moses and God were golfing. God hit a long shot right into the woods. A beaver picked up the ball and placed it in the fairway, a bird then picked up the ball and placed it on the green. Then a squirrel came and pushed the ball into the hole. God said, "That's a hole in one". Moses turned to Jesus and said, "I hate playing with him." I think God wants us to laugh and enjoy life instead of being irate about every little thing. Lighten up a little and the world will be a little more peaceful.

So, tell me, Why is it so very bad for the Pope to quote what a man said 500 years ago about Islam, but its Ok for your religious leaders to Quote what a man said about Christians and Jews 1500 years ago? You know what I'm talking about, the part of the Quran that basically says the only good Christian is a dead Christian?

Muslims believe that Jesus Christ was a prophet, lesser than Mohamed. They believe the Bible is falsified & corrupt. So, they believe in a different Jesus, so to speak.

Biblical Christians, like myself, have studied the original Greek texts. Let me sum it up. Jesus Christ is God come down from heaven. He is creator and Lord. All the prophecies about Him written in the ancient prophets of Israel spoke of Him. He fulfilled them all, the odds of which are astronomical.

If Jesus was sinless as you say, and all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, what does that say of Jesus CHrist? Only God is sinless. See?

What I get from your message is that you are a better person because you honor both prophets mentioned, whereas many Christians honor only one (and some of them none, if truth be told). Well, what if I tell you I honor both the names you mentioned plus Buddha? Would that make me a better person than you? Want to fight about it? [grin]

In West Bank attacks on four churches, Palestinians used guns, firebombs and lighter fluid, leaving church doors charred and walls scorched by flames and pocked with bullet holes. Nobody was reported injured. Two Catholic churches, an Anglican one and a Greek Orthodox one were hit. A Greek Orthodox church was also attacked in Gaza City.
